Walking through the aftermath of spiritual abuse can be brutal. And lonely.
Many who find themselves on this journey lose have lost their faith community altogether. Others may feel the difficulty of naming what they've walked through—even if they have community alongside them.
Almost no one has words.
Still, something in us longs to be seen—to have someone bear witness with us to the harm that has come and the complexity of the journey. The untangling of a heart that longed to follow Jesus but was met with manipulation, shame that rightfully belonged to another, confusion, and heartbreak.
